How To Play Volleyball
Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules.
Make a fist with your left hand with the thumb on top, and cover the left fist withyour right hand. Your thumbs should line up side by side. Bring your arms together straight and away from the body. Your forearms should create a “platform,” where the ball should contact.
When the ball hits any part of your body, including the leg or the foot, it constitutes a legal hit. Another USA Volleyball rule update for the 2010 season slightly changed the rule regarding physical support for a teammate. Previously you couldn't get a teammate's help to reach a ball.
